Heads up thrill-seekers – the world’s tallest rollercoaster is coming to Orlando and it’s ready to twist and tumble you more than 500ft above the ground.
A new introduction to the International Drive resort, the hair-raising ride is set to soar in 2017, promising thrill seekers something that they have never before experienced.
Skyscraper, the world’s first Polercoaster, and soon to be the tallest structure in Central Florida, will join The Orlando Eye observation wheel as focal points of the I-Drive skyline. Skyscraper will not only be an incredible feat of architecture, but also a first-of-its-kind thrill ride.
“Skyscraper will not only take riders higher than ever before, but also introduce one thrill right after the next – there’s no ‘down time’ on this four minute coaster experience,” said Michael Kitchen, President of US Thrill Rides.
The observation desk of the Skyscraper is also set to offer views just over 535ft above Orlando and will dramatically change the skyline in Orlando.
That’s not all it’s planned to have either as David Wallack, founder of the Skyplex said: “From the thrill of riding the world’s tallest coaster, to the breathtaking views from the observation deck, to the excitement of the indoor games and attractions, as well as a variety of upscale shopping, dining and nightlife, Skyplex will be a destination unto itself.”
Skyplex is set to feature I-Drive’s largest indoor theme park complete with an upscale arcade, simulators, rock climbing, bars, and a host of rides and games, as well as additional opportunities for attractions, interactive venues, restaurants and retail.
