Why we Love Staying at the Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando

When we book our holiday the only place we want to stay at is Rosen Inn @ Pointe Orlando – this is the one at 9000 International Drive – we adore this location as we find it quieter and closest to the best restaurants.

What’s inside…

This amazing hotel has a wide range of facilities for couples and families which made it great for us. It has a Starbucks, gift shop, a lite bite mini market & deli and even it’s own restaurant.

The lite bite deli is great for those midnight snacks or even those last minute things you need to grab as it is open 24 hours a day, but for those of you wanting a bit of a bigger meal, the hotel restaurant does a buffet style menu, which always smells and tastes delicious.

The hotel also boasts 3 massive swimming pools that we have never once found to be too packed, which we find absolutely fantastic considering the location and popularity of the hotel. The pools are also well cleaned and look after by the staff at the hotel.

Finally, the hotel also has a massive kids playground area, which is perfect when you’re starting to wind down and relax but the kids are still raring to go.

The rooms…

Let’s start with those beds – my goodness what we’d give to have one of those back home! The first thing we do when we enter our room is starfish right across the bed.

The rooms are lovely and roomy and all have iron/ironing board, fridge, a microwave and also a hair dryer.

The housekeeping staff are amazing and clean our room daily – it’s great coming back after a long day finding it all neat and tidy again as before we leave for the parks we always make a mess!

The staff…

The staff are always amazing and always greet you with a smile on their face! We have never had any problems with the hotel, but we know that if we did the staff would be on hand to help whenever we needed them.

In the lobby there is a desk to book extra trips away which we liked to use for planning a trip to Clearwater and Miami and even the Kennedy Space Centre.

The location…

We have only driven once in Orlando and took advantage in the previous years of the I-Ride Trolley pass which is $18 for the fortnight and totally worth it if you don’t fancy driving!

The hotel also do a shuttle to Disney for $17 per person per day and offers a free coach to Universal and SeaWorld – but remember that you have to book these at reception in advance.

The restaurants near the hotel are fantastic because it is in such a great location to walk to many of our favourites. We recommend you try out Millers Ale House and Copper Canyon Grill who tease you with the smells of delicious smoking meat from around 10am!

We are heading back to this hotel in October for the sixth time to celebrate our birthdays and after planning for almost two years, we’re really excited!

A definite 10/10 for this hotel!
