We’ve just got wind that a new ride has been announced over at Universal Studios – which means the loss of two other attractions!
According to Universal Orlando Resort, the Fast and Furious franchise is coming to the studios in the form of an underground ride.
From 2017, you’ll be able to check out some of the high-speed cars while immersed in the underground racing ride before boarding the vehicles for an ‘adrenaline-pumping’ ride with stars from the film.
We presume that the ride will be another one of the 3D rides that we’ve all come to love from Universal, but they’re staying tight lipped on releasing any more information.
The sad thing about this ride is that we have to say goodbye to two Universal Studios classic attractions – Disaster: A Major Motion Picture Starring You and Beetlejuice!
Disaster will close on September 8, 2015 to make room for the development of this ride. Beetlejuice is expected to stay a little longer, however, Universal have not confirmed a date for the closure of this yet.
