Christmas is coming to the Wizarding World at Universal Orlando

We’re so excited to tell you that Universal have just announced that a new Christmas extravaganza is coming to the Wizarding World this year!

The details are quite limited currently but below is what they’ve told us so far, and from that, we’re super excited and can’t wait to go! Watch the video below for a quick roundup of what’s in store.

As you enter both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley you’ll be greeted with festive garland décor surrounding the shops and attractions, each with it’s own unique detail.

There’ll be new food and drink options throughout both of the areas also, so expect some new festive culinary delights from London and the UK. In winter Universal added Hot Butterbeer to the menu, so we’re expecting to see this showing up again.

And as for the entertainment, we’re told theres loads of new options coming, including the famous Frog Choir, who’ll be singing some new numbers for you. We’re told as the night draws in a festive spell will be cast onto the Hogwarts castle, cascading it in new décor, candlelight and using the latest technology, transforming itself into a festive display.

Holiday Parade

For those of you who are a fan of the Macy’s Holiday Parade at Universal, it’s getting a slight makeover for this year. You’ll still enjoy the same balloons and festive décor you’ve come to expect but with more of a “Universal” twist on it this year. The brand new Universal’s Holiday Parade will feature newly designed floats, festive balloons and your favourite Universal characters.

We’re expecting to see more mayhem from Gru and the Minions characters in this years parade as well as some of the DreamWorks characters from Madagascar and Shrek.

The Christmas festivities will take place daily from 18 November 2017 to 6 January 2018 and will be included in your general admission tickets.

More info will be coming soon so Like us on Facebook and we’ll keep you up-to-date!
