Ahhh – love is in the air! We love to be in Orlando during valentines days. It might not seem it – but it can actually be one of the most romantic places – if you want it to. So if you’re heading out to Orlando or are there during Valentines Day 2018 or 2019, it’s definitely worth checking out our favourite romantic spots.
Horse Drawn Carriage Ride at Walt Disney World Resort
You can’t really get more romantic than this – can you? You can create your own Cinderella moment as you relax and take in the amazing sights of Walt Disney World right from your very own private horse-drawn carriage. You can select from two beautiful routes; You can ride through the gorgeous pine trees of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground or if you’re wanting something a little more calming, you can travel along the pathways of Port Orleans – Riverside and the banks of the Sassagoula River. Each carriage ride is currently $55 and more info can be found here.
Experience everything Orlando has to offer, from 400-feet up in the air. Take in the exhillarating views over Orlando as you enter your very own private pod, complete with champagne and a box of chocolates. You can either do day or night rides, where, weather permitting, you’ll get to see as far as Epcot – right from I-Drive. It’s definitely an experience we’d recommend. If you’re planning to do this, we’d definitely recommend the nighttime experience. You can book via their website, or a cheaper option is to book via one of our ticket partners, such as Attraction Tickets Direct.
Dinner at Narcoossee’s
One of the most beautiful restaurants at Walt Disney World – and that’s no understatement. Enjoy a three course meal from delicious steak to an amazing cooked lobster, Narcoossee’s definitely cater for everyone. Once your finished with the main course and just before your dessert, it’s time to step outside and watch the Magic Kingdom Happily Ever After fireworks display from your own viewing platform across the river. It’s truly an elegant dining experience for lovers. The Narcoossee’s restaurant is located onsite at Walt Disney World’s Grand Floridian resort, towards the far end and can be booked using the My Disney Experience app.
Orlando Balloon Rides
One of the classiest experiences in Orlando – an amazing sunrise or sunset balloon ride. It’s definitely one of those things that you do as a couple, and certainly a brilliant backdrop if you’re thinking of proposing on Valentines Day. When we did the Orlando Balloon ride, we did it during sunrise – yes, it’s an early starts – but totally worth the champagne and view that you get! If you’re a hopeless romantic, this one is definitely for you. You can book on their website or using one of our ticket partners, such as Attraction Tickets Direct.
